History

SOK Guard System is available nationwide.

February Bodyguard services for Pope John Paul II. (already started bodyguard services around 1967.)

July Launches research and development of the security service robot.
December Forms an alliance with Mitsubishi Electric Company and Ryoden Service (current Mitsubishi Electric Building Techno-Service Co., Ltd.).

July Takes part in "the Satellite Utilization Pilot Plan" by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.

April Launches "TAKURUS", a home security system.

July Awards from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on sending guards to Japanese embassies.

November Launches "PICLS", audio-visual monitoring system.

November Enters into the fields of electronic commerce (EC) business.
December Acquisition of Type-2 telecommunications carrier license.
Completes the national telecommunication network "SOK-NET"

April Launches "MMK", multi-function ATM.
July Launches the trial use of Guard Robot C2 Type at Fuji TV main office.
October Launches "Cash deposit machine on-line system".

April Launches "SOK Home Security" with convenient functions for daily life.

February Forms an alliance with Nichii Gakkan in the field of nursing.
July Opens the first security shop in Aoyama, Tokyo.

March Forms an alliance with Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. for the sale of home security.
September Enters into the business of electronic authentication service.

April Launches "Guard ROBO C4 Type".
September Obtains ISO9001 certification for some business areas.
October Lists stock on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

March Launches "Anshin Mate", geopositioning and guard dispatch system.
April Partial spin-off of stationed security business.
Acquisition of Sokei Electrical Industry Co., Ltd, consolidated subsidiary.
Agrees business alliance with Japan Maintenance.
July Changes corporate brand from SOK to ALSOK.
August Launches "ALSOK Apartment Guard" security system for residential units.
