Research and development

ALSOK is dedicated to the most advanced research and development related to daily security, safety and comfort in people's lives.

Our research and development efforts are grouped around the keywords of 'IT' and 'aging population' concepts that reflect the focus of ALSOK's business. We look to meet not only security needs but a diverse range of peripheral needs.

Robots

The C4 guard robot has already entered use as a provider of security and reception services. ALSOK has now developed the D1 version, a patrol robot that features even more sophisticated performance. We continue to research new types of stationed security system that fuse the benefits of robots and traditional staffing. As society continues to age and the number of children to decline, ALSOK's goal is to develop robot systems that provide both security and a diverse range of other services.

For individuals

The integration of IT and mobile technologies is enabling us to build systems that immediately address the needs of individual customers.
We are developing personal security systems utilizing next-generation home security, internet, mobile phone, and GPS technologies.

Security equipment

To further enhance the operational efficiency of our mainstay ALSOK Guard System, and to achieve higher levels of customer satisfaction, we are constantly working to upgrade our range of sensors and other security equipment. We are actively involved in developing sensors that more closely approach the five human senses, as well as equipment that incorporates man-machine interfaces to avoid false alarms caused, for example, by insects or small animals.

Networks

ALSOK applies the next generation of information technologies and state of the art engineering to develop security solutions for both real and cyber space. To provide security services that meet the needs of an increasingly advanced information society, we are constantly pursuing the development of systems and products that take account of the latest generation of security.
