ALSOK's Electronic Security Services installs alarm equipment in office
buildings, as well as residential households, and it monitors and responds
to automatically transmitted alarms warning of intrusions*1, fires, and
other emergency situations*2. Signals transmitted from alarm equipment
are remotely monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from our Guard
Centers (Monitoring Centers). When an irregularity occurs, we dispatch
on-call security staff to the client’s premise to check locks, inspect
both interior and exterior areas of premises and respond to the situation
as needed.
Because security staff are given keys to the client's home or facility,
a high level of trust is essential when signing a contract.

or from a sense of personal danger
Immediate dispatch using a new technology
ALSOK has introduced a system that uses the location coordinates obtained
from the GPS-equipped handsets carried by security staff to automatically
determine which staff member can reach a given location fastest. It then
issues directions about how to get to the location. The system enhances
the efficiency of dispatch operations and reduces the amount of time that
elapses after an alarm signal is received until arrival of security staff
at the site. This mobile navigation system enables the transmission of
information to car navigation systems in security vehicles via high-capacity
Bluetooth® communications, and it has received high praise for making
efficient dispatch instructions possible. In March 2008, at the MCPC Awards
2008, run by the Mobile Computing Promotion Consortium, the system was
awarded the Grand Prix and the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications'
Prize.
Electronic Security Services Flow Chart

In the Event of an Illegal Intrusion in an Office Building or Residence
When
security sensors installed on a door or window detect an intrusion,
an alarm (intrusion alarm) is transmitted to the Guard Center.
The
monitoring staff at the Guard Center who receive an alarm instruct the
on-call security staff to proceed immediately to the site.
Security
staff who receive instructions immediately proceed to the site and confirm
whether or not there is any sign of an intrusion. In the event that
there is a sign of an intrusion, upon checking the site, the security
staff will report to the police if necessary.Trends in Contract Volume
